Forest Healthcare, a sector-leading network of high-quality care and residential nursing facilities, has announced a new recruitment drive, providing opportunities for passionate, skilled and sensitive care professionals to join this well-regarded group.

With a focus on exceptional standards and a long list of accolades, Forest Healthcare's facilities span London and the south and east of the UK. Many care centres are based within beautiful period properties with expansive gardens to add to the enjoyment and quality of life of all residents and specialist care recipients.

What to Expect From a Career in Care With Forest Healthcare

The company supports over 600 residents and families, with a multidisciplinary team in each centre, including qualified nurses, carers, managers, administrators, activity coordinators, assistants and catering, housekeeping and maintenance colleagues.

New positions attract significant interest, and decisions are made solely based on skill and character since the organisation is an equal opportunity employer. Talented candidates can apply for permanent and secure care jobs, with pay rates per hour that meet or exceed the minimum wage.

Amanda Scott, Chief Executive Officer at Forest Healthcare says,‘At Forest Healthcare, we recognise the incredible work our Managers and their teams do every day. We are excited to meet applicants who share our passion for respectful, personal, and professional care, supporting the right of every resident to contribute to their care plan, and enabling people to have the choice to elect their routine and activities.

We know that a warm, welcoming, and comfortable setting is essential for residents, whether they are older age, have a disability, or are recovering from a hospital stay. We recruit candidates who we feel will embrace the style of family-feel care we are known for, and who are keen to progress, learn, and enhance their skills, with an interest in developing a life-long career.’

Applicants looking for care home or nursing centre vacancies may filter by the multiple locations and care facilities within the Forest Healthcare group. These include:

Example Vacancies for Candidates Looking for Rewarding Care Opportunities

The newly published vacancies span a broad range of careers and openings, ranging from assistant-level roles for those new to care or looking to improve their abilities within a supportive, well-managed team through to senior and leadership roles, owing to the rapid expansion of the group, and sustained demand for more care centre places in all locations. The following are among the vacancies open now for interested candidates:

Care Assistant, Forest Care Village

Forest Healthcare is advertising for several Care Assistants in Borehamwood on a full-time, permanent basis, and working day shift patterns. Successful applicants receive a full induction programme, training and development, opportunities to progress, a workplace pension, a generous annual leave package and access to the employee assistance and benefits portal.

Ideal candidates will have previous experience as Care Assistants, but the comprehensive training provided, including a diploma in Health and Social Care, makes these roles suitable for any candidate with the necessary abilities, subject to a full DBS check.

Activities Coordinator, Hassingham House

The team in Hingham is seeking an Activities Coordinator, working 40 hours per week, including day shifts and alternate weekends, on a full-time and permanent basis. The role requires a person who is friendly, confident, and creative, and can organise engaging, inclusive, and fun activities, events, and crafts for residents of all abilities.

While Hassingham House is in a peaceful rural area, making transport necessary, the rewards are excellent, including a holiday package, pension, benefits programme, uniform, induction training and ongoing development opportunities.

Care Team Leader, Woodlands Park

Forest Healthcare's Great Missenden team is looking for a Care Team Leader with the skills and experience to lead and supervise shifts, provide case management for residents, liaise with families and healthcare professionals, complete risk assessments, and uphold the aim of helping residents remain safe, happy, active and independent in a caring environment.

Applicants must have three years of experience or more, an NVQ 3 or above in Health and Social Care, and proven leadership qualities. The superb remuneration package includes catering during 12-hour shift patterns and the security of a full-time role.

Further information about each care centre, the exact locations and the vacancies are available through the Forest Healthcare website.
